A practice
held between
two perspectives.
I am Lokanshu Jain. I design experiences that live on screens and experiences that live in rooms — and I treat them as the same practice. My work has spanned product systems for clinical teams, projection pieces on heritage façades, XR tools for architects, and the quiet arrival sequences of museums.
I want to work with creative directors, museum studios, exhibition agencies, product teams, and recruiters. The work below is a small selection — the longer index lives in the work section.

The same practice, read two ways.
The text below describes the practice in neutral terms. Move your pointer across it — you may find there is another reading underneath.
I design experiences that ask the same questions whether they live on a screen or inside a room — where attention goes, how it moves, and what it leaves behind.
The work below describes the practice in a single voice. Move across it and you may find another reading underneath — one of two perspectives, each carrying its own colour, geometry, and emphasis.
Two ladders, climbed in parallel.
I do not start a digital brief differently from a spatial one. Both begin in the same place — a question — and both end in the same place — a thing released to its audience.

What I bring into a room.
Experience strategy
Reading a brief and finding the question underneath it. Mapping audience, context, and constraint before any visual is made.
UX & product design
End-to-end product work — research, IA, interaction, systems, validation. I lead and I make.
Spatial storytelling
Threshold sequences, exhibition narratives, visitor flow, and the small spatial cues that direct attention.
Projection mapping
Concept, site study, content design, and direction of physical install. Calibration with technicians on site.
XR / AR / VR
Tools and experiences for headsets and handhelds, with a focus on giving the user their hands and attention back.
Museum design
Working with curators and collections teams to translate scholarship into something a visitor's body can read.
User research
Field shadowing, diary studies, interviews, service blueprinting. Quantitative log analysis when the data is there.
Technical planning
Drawings, schedules, vendor briefs, calibration plans. The unglamorous half that makes the glamorous half possible.
Creative direction
Holding a single creative line across digital and physical deliverables for the same client.
If your brief sits between a screen and a space — we should talk.
